Paper quilling, also known as paper filligree, is one of my favorite crafts. Different color and size papers along with a variety of techniques give the pieces lots of texture as well as great color. A little imagination goes a long, long way…the sky’s the limit. Quilled shapes can be put on just about anything…and are particularly nice for cards, gifts tags and framed items such as wedding invitation shadow boxes and the like. Hey out there!!
I finally “gave in” and decided to start a blog. Thanks to my friends RV and MMcQ (Dr. Bombay thanks you too MMcQ) for the suggestion. RV (was it really THAT long ago??) it took me a while but here it is, MMcQ – you were the latest to suggest…glad I listened this time around. This is fun.
Folks, you’ll find some samples of cards and gift tags on the Paper Crafts Gallery page, take a look and let me know what you think.
I plan to add a page or two along the way……especially one to blog about something I think is quite unique and special. I’m hoping, also, that I can entice a friend or two to come on as authors so that there will be a variety of topics and perspectives available. I think that will make for an interesting blog.
